They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires… (2 Timothy 3:6 NIV)
A review is in order. The devil is no creator; he is, however, a counterfeiter. His plan to take over the world hinges on acquiring the ability to crush his enemies (Revelation 13:4). Mass producing and controlling robots is a key part of his scheme. When human-like machines (images) come to life, his evil purposes will be set in motion. Soon, Satan’s army of Cyborgs will be launched with one mission–destroy all opposition.
Admittedly, this sounds like science-fiction or the fantasy epic The Lord of the Rings, but this scenario also fits with the Bible. We cited prophecy in Revelation 13:15 noting that it foretells a future event involving the false prophet. The event will be the devil’s version of Jesus’ breathing his spirit into his disciples, equipping them to go into the world with the gospel (John 20:21, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8).
We cannot overlook other Biblical examples when life was breathed into the lifeless (cf. Genesis 2:7, 2 Kings 4:32-36, Revelation 11:11). One in particular, deserves special mention. The action starts with God’s question: “Son of man, can these bones live?” Read on about “The Valley of Dry Bones” in Ezekiel 37:3.
“This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life… Then you will know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 37:5, 6b)
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet–a vast army. (Ezekiel 36:10)
From the beginning, Satan desired to be like the Most High (Isaiah 14:14). Soon he will possess a vast army that will come to life, eager to accomplish his evil purposes. In their sights, will be humans, the crown of creation. Most, like a third of the angels in heaven, will be led astray (Matthew 24:10). Seduced, the wicked then will worship the beast as god, and so be eternally condemned. The rest are the saints, the overcomers who stand firm to the end (Matthew 24:13). The people of God will be the objects of the evil one’s rage, for he will know his time is short (Revelation 12:12, 17). Now back to our subject and more current events.
When the word went out via social media that ISIS fighters were looking for women, flights were booked. An October 15, 2017, report in the on-line “The Daily Beast” stated that from Belgium alone, “500 women” responded and flew to Syria or Iraq to join the men of Jihad. At the time of the article, an estimated 100 of them had been killed.
Eager to show their allegiance to Allah, but not with rifles, the captured women of ISIS fulfilled another role. They provided the comforts of home for war-weary fighters and became willing mothers to bear their babies.
Publicized studies have reported that, in general, today’s women are having fewer children. American abortion rates are in decline, but so are conception rates. While births decrease, production for robotic devices cannot keep pace with the demand.
In Genesis 9:1, the Lord commanded Noah and his descendants to increase in number and fill the earth. Forget all that. Instead of marrying and having children, today we are manufacturing humanoids. This will come back on the heads of rebels.
Buckle up. Coming to a home and family near you are the Cyborgs. We may have to look twice to determine if they are human. Cyborgs are not just robots; they have superior intellect, and, as far as being physically attractive, they will be custom built to suit one’s taste.
On the war front, humans are no match for robot tanks and Cyborg armies. On the home front, Cyborgs will win as well, that is, if you call sleeping in bed with the master or mistress a victory.
In Part 8, we will examine the marketing of Cyborgs. What will make them a desirable addition to any home?
